Qué busca? Project description

Proyecto #2: ¿Qué busca?

Create a sequence of events in which a character looks for something he/she has lost. Have your character finally find the object (or not). Make sure there is a surprise or a funny element in your story (maybe the character found something else or found the object in a very crazy place). You will tell your sequence to the class, using no notes.
You will create a visual to accompany your oral presentation. Your visual will have at least 12 steps in it. Your visual can either fit in a page illustrated by you, or a Powerpoint with images (ok if they are Photoshopped)
In your presentation, you will include:
1. ______Who the character is (give him/her a Spanish name and a profession or identity: a waiter, a king, a thief, etc)
2. _____ What he/she is looking for (he/she looks for...)
3. ______ Why he is looking for such thing (because he wants to do something, or he is going somewhere, or he likes something…)
4. ______ What he does when looking: moves something, climbs on something,  jumps, looks out of the window, opens the cabinet, etc. At least three different actions.
5. ______ Where he looks. Your character must look at least in six different places throughout the setting of the story (For example, under the table,  the chair, in someone else’s coat, in the closet, on the piano, etc.) Notice that you must use 6 different prepositions!
6. ______ How your character is feeling in different moments of the story. Use at least 3 states of emotion (está contento/a, está enojado/a, está triste, está confundido/a, está feliz, está sorprendido)
You must use the following vocabulary. Add other transition words/connectors if you want.
a. Busca
b. Encuentra/No encuentra
c.Tampoco
d.Pero
e. Entonces
f. Después
g. También
h. Porque
8. You must use these 6 prepositions to indicate where the character is looking for the object:
  1. Detrás de
  2. Debajo de
  3. Sobre/Encima de
  4. Afuera
  5. Adelante de
  6. En
You will turn in a written draft, that you will write in class, before illustrating your sequence. Use the vocabulary studied in class. You are allowed to use NO MORE THAN 3 NEW WORDS. This is your chance to create a fun story that you will share with the class! Be creative and have fun.
