Me gusta, te gusta, le gusta + INFINITIVE

The infinitive. In English we recognize the infinitive form of the verb because it has the word "TO" in front of the verb: to jump, to eat, to travel. In Spanish we recognize the infinitive because the verb ends in -AR, -ER or -IR: cantAR, comER, vivIR.

Here are some infinitives in Spanish that don't quite look like the conjugated verb:

JUGAR: juego
DORMIR: duermo
IR: voy. (this one is so different from the conjugated verb!!!)

We use the infinitive after the verb "gustar", just like we do in English:

I like to drink coffee: Me gusta beber café.
Do you like to swim in the ocean? Te gusta nadar en el mar?
He likes to run in the park: Le gusta correr en el parque.

Tell what the following people like to do. Remember to use the infinitive after "gustar", and write a full sentence

1. Un niño de 4 años
2. Una chica de 12 años
3. Una señora de 40 años
4. Un viejito de 80 años
5. Un perro en el parque
6. Un gato en la casa.
